Wait, Recognize, and Act

When all you can do is wait

When the ache becomes too great

When the lying causes so much crying

When you want to escape but there’s no where to hide

Close your eyes and start praying inside

Feeling his pain and the sword in his side

Bleeding out to protect us all

Knowing we’re all human and will fall

Grateful and humbled by his love

Aiming to be filled with purity like a dove

Paying his love and direction forward

Never ceasing, less being a coward

We will stumble and this he knows

Every time we get up the stronger the relationship grows

So dust yourself off and keep elevating

There is no time for debating

For us he gave his word

The beginning of knowledge is the fear of the Lord
